10 Bulbs

An unusual and eye-catching crocus. Its soft creamy-yellow blooms combine with pretty lilac markings on the outer petals – a subtle but distinctive colour combination.

‘Advance’ flowers early in the season and works beautifully in groups, especially when mixed with other soft-toned varieties.

It naturalises well and looks just as at home in pots as it does tucked into borders or gravel planting. One to plant once and enjoy for years.

Seed Story

Crocus chrysanthus is native to the Balkans and Turkey, and was first formally described in 1821. Its name means “golden flower,” and it’s been loved for its elegant early blooms ever since.
These species crocuses are far longer-lasting than most hybrids – settling in happily and returning stronger each spring. Plant once, and they’ll signal the start of spring for years to come!
