It has soft lilac colouring at its centre, but it’s the outer petals that steal the show – each one streaked with a dramatic plum-toned flame that really sets it apart. Super chic!

Seed Story
Native to Corsica, Sardinia, and parts of Italy, Crocus minimus is one of the lesser-known wild crocuses – and among the very first to flower.
First described in the late 18th century, it’s long been loved for its elegant, understated detail.
With its fine, grass-like foliage and delicate striping, minimus brings interest to late winter planting schemes.
A true species crocus, it settles in easily and comes back each year, full of energy. Allow it to naturalise, and you’ll be rewarded for seasons to come.
