Onion ‘Sturon’ Sets – PRE-ORDER
£5.99
Availability: In stock
250g – Approx 75 sets – ESTIMATED DESPATCH FROM LATE JANUARY 26
Sturon is a heritage onion variety that’s stayed popular for decades thanks to its strong flavour, reliability and excellent storage qualities. It produces semi-round, straw-coloured bulbs that keep well, taste great and grow consistently even in unpredictable seasons. It’s also naturally resistant to bolting, which is always a win.
This variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, which means that it is recommended for its reliability and performance in gardens under UK growing conditions.
A brilliant, traditional heritage onion with strong yields and excellent keeping quality.
Plant your onion sets from late winter to mid-spring and harvest late summer to early autumn.
✉️ A Note for Subscription Box Customers
If you’re a subscription box customer, we’ll be sending you a different onion set variety (a red one) so you won’t receive duplicates.
We’re keeping the exact variety a surprise, but it will not be Sturon.
**Please note any orders containing onion sets will incur an additional delivery charge of £1.50 on top of our standard delivery charge of £2.50**
